In March 2018, Mollie Douthit traveled from Grand Forks, ND to spend some time with Flat Tail Press. She worked on an elegant, minimal stone lithograph drawing of her recently deceased pet. Printed in a deep umber ink on buff paper, Douthit remarks on her print titled “T.S.”:

“The print is based off of a previous drawing of our dog, Ted . . . drawn when Ted was ill, and we were on the verge of losing him. There was such joy and illusive calm in making a multiple of a soul now gone.”
